Thankful Thursday!
My heart is thankful for so many things today…
1. I’m thankful that I stand righteous before a holy God. Not because of anything I did but because of what Christ did 2,000 years ago! He took the punishment I deserved on that cross!!

2. A helping hand from my son..
3. A pastor who is willing to call sin SIN even at great personal cost..
4. Answered prayer concerning a tragedy this year….
5. Airconditioning…
6. Being told I’m missed by a grandchild….
7. A husband who works to the point of exhaustion to provide for our needs …
8. Good health… ( including our children, their spouses and grandchildren..)
9. A parking spot in the shade…
10. Enough money to meet all our house expenses this past month…

I just noticed Thankful Thursday, and then Frugal Friday. Have you named the rest of the days? They should be positive terms, not anything like Woeful Wed. I’ll have to think about this.
We do have alot to be grateful for. It just occurred to me to make sure I am someone that others can be thankful for.
What a beautiful Thankful list! There is so much to be thankful for~
How we need to take the time to be thankful! I appreciate your list…made me think again about my own….much, much more on my unwritten list than I could ever think to write down. Have a happy day!
We have SO MUCH to be thankful for, even in the hard times. God reminds me of this often, sometimes by a friend’a sweet list…

what a happy list. It’s good to be reminded of things we so often take for granted~
That was a very sweet post! By the way, thanks for your compliment on the thing I crocheted! I really appreciate it. It was actually the same one but I had just taken 2 pictures of it and faced it different ways. You are right that we have loads to be thankful for and many times we end up griping about everything, don’t we? The Lord is gracious and I’m very thankful that He is in control!
Don’t we all have lots to be thankful for??? I know I do! And one thing I am thankful for, is that you shared with us!
If we start our day and end each day of the week being thankful, we will all be in a better state of mind, emotion and health! Thanks for the reminder.
We have lots of poor people around us. When you go to the center of Lima, you will see mothers on the sidewalk with babies and small children around her just begging. I have seen several times in the market place in Lima, parents making their children dance for a living. People gather around and throw coins at them. Just different situations of poverty.
Have a wonderful weekend, Georgene. Blessings to you and your family.
Glad God has given so much to be thankful for.

Thank you for the reminder that we need to take the time to list all the things we have to be thankful so… it’s so easy to take things for granted. Everyone should have a Thankful Thursday very often.
