Comparing….
Trials and crosses have a tendency to make us ‘me’ focused and our circumstances become magnified. That is the exact moment when we must CONSIDER ( denoting repetition, again and again) Christ who endured more for our sakes than we can ever, ever imagine.
When I consider my crosses, tribulations, and temptations, I shame myself almost to death thinking of what they are in comparison to the sufferings of my blessed Saviour, Jesus Christ. ~ Martin Luther
“For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.” Hebrews 12:3

I thank you for what you just posted. I was really on the brink of deep despair about our current condition….but the Lord led me to check my xanga subscriptions..and thus your message of Christ’s sufferings compared to ours really changed my outlook. Yes, our situation is dire, but not compared to the Lord’s. Thank you for this reminder. Blessings. Hugs.
That’s interesting. The Lord’s Table lesson I did today said the same thing bsically. Hmm maybe someone is trying to tell me something. Thanks.
Great post! God bless you!
Soooo true!
What a good reminder…when we think things are bad –look up, remember what price He paid for us/me.
p.s. there’s another idea for gift giving on my site if you care to take a look~
Amen, none can compare.

ryc; the frame was one I had around that I picked up at a thrift store. It didn’t have glass with it, so I put contact paper over the printed list, and the matte is just a thick card stock paper behind it. Worked perfectly!
Hi, I really like your posts and your lovely site, hope to get to know you better also.
Have a blessed week. Sharon
That is great! I needed that reminder. I need to hang it on my wall so I don’t forget. Thanks for stopping by my site!
What a fantastic post and so very true. Thank you for this wonderful reminder! Also, thank you for taking the time to share with me ideas on the baby shower. I loved your ideas and want to use them for my two daughters. They will love them too. You are just a sweetheart for taking the time to write to me and I thank you. Have a wonderful night.
Hi Georgena, Yes, that is me in the pink apron. I love aprons too and love to make them. I made this one but I didn’t have a pattern. Just made it up as I went along. I have pictures and instruction on how I made it about 12 posts back if you want to look at them or print them. It is a very easy apron to make. I agree we haven’t gone through anything compared to our Jesus sufferings and we never will. He is always there for us! Blessing!
Thanks for dropping by my site!!
